Northern Thailand Tours And Trekking

Hilltribe trekking used to be one of the main attractions of Northern Thailand but over the years lot of other activities have been developed here to make Northern Thailand really the centre of outdoor activities in Thailand.

Chiang Mai is the major city of Northern Thailand and has grown from being a backpacker's hub to a destination of international allure. The addition of zip wire adventures, bicycle tours, rafting and, kayaking trips as well as outstanding, responsible elephant experiences are now also a reason for families to visit and enjoy the 'Rose of the North".

Chiang Rai is the second most popular destination in Northern Thailand. Main attraction is the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet. Chiang Rai offers great biking, trekking and boat trips on the Mekong and Mekong Rivers.

Apart from these two main destinations there are plenty of off the beaten track destinations such as Nan, Mae Sariang  and Mae Chaem, to just name a few.Northern Thailand also boasts some beautiful national parks such as Doi Inthanon and lesser known parks as Chaesorn and Mae Ping.
