Frans - General Manager

Frans Betgem was born in Amstelveen, just south of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on January 3, 1959. After graduating in contemporary History at the University of Amsterdam Frans backpacked through Southeast Asia for 6 months. After a brief spell in the Netherlands he started to work as a tour leader for Baobab Risen in Thailand. In 1991 he moved to Thailand. For Baobab Reizen he organized and led more than fifty tours (most of them 4 weeks in duration….) in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia and the Philippines. In 1994 Frans co-founded Khiri Travel, a Destination Management Company in Bangkok, with his business partner and friend Willem Niemeijer. Together they built up the company and opened companies in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar.

On January 1, 2012, Frans retired from the daily management of Khiri Travel in order to fully concentrate on Tiger Trail Thailand and its sister brands, supported by his Thai wife Kai.

Product development is Frans’ passion and he now can devote all his time to design innovative and sustainable itineraries for a variety of customers worldwide.

Other passions are, of course, history, trekking, music and many different kinds of sports such as football and cycling.

 

Nuch  - Accounting

Ms. Woranuch Sathidwana, nickname Nuch, as born in  Chomtong, not far from Chiang Mai. She is Tiger Trail Thailand's Accountant. She love animals and her favorite pet is a guinea pig, called Tualek. In her free time she like watching TV, surfing the internet and travelling. After finishing the Thonburi university she became an accountant. She loves nature and has always had a great interest in eco-tourism activities. She is calm, respectful and always pushes herself to do the best job she can.                    

 

Pat – Operations Manager

Ms. Supatsorn Chinsiriworawong, nickname Pat, is Tiger Trail Thailand’s Operations Manager. She was born and raised in Chiang Mai. She graduated from Chiang Mai University in English. She is interested in local history and sustainable tourism. Pat loves traveling and especially enjoys the opportunity to meet different people and try new and interesting food. Learning about Thai traditional medicine is also one of her hobbies. In her free time she practices yoga. Her motto: ‘everything is possible’

 

Aom - Sales Manager

Ms. Naruemon Naimongkol, nickname Aom, is Tiger Trail Thailand’s Sales Manager. She graduated from Lampang Rajabhat University,  majoring in English. She has been working for travel companies in Chiang Mai since 2004 and decided to accept a job at an export company in 2007, to gain new work experience. She realized that the export business is not what she likes to do and accepted a job as sales manager with Tiger Trail Thailand.
If she has free time she loves to travel, read and surf the Internet. Traveling around the world is her dream. She is eager to learn about other cultures and visit new places.
