This tour starts with a fabulous whitewater rafting adventure on the Mae-Tang River. Paddle through breathtaking canyon for nparalleled fun on the river. The next day, starts hiking to the summit of Doi Luang Chiang Dao, the third highest mountain of Thailand*. It is the highest limestone mountain and has unique biodiversity. With more than 1800 species of plants, many of them endemic to the mountain, it is a paradise for botanists. We will camp just under the summit, a unique experience. Enjoy majestic views and fresh air. The last day we will descend and travel back to Chiang Mai.

This three day trek will take you into the Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary. Doi Chiang Dao is the third highest mountain in Thailand. This is really a stunning part of Northern Thailand and, strange enough, seldom visited by tourists. In the coming days you will learn about the flora and fauna of this area and about the tribal people who call these foothills of the Himalayas their home. You will learn about the traditions, customs and life of the tribes, the Karen and Lisu.
