Every visitor wants to take pictures of tribal people in their traditional dress. This often leads to uncomfortable situations. Many tribal people don't want their picture taken or want something in return. Our guide will facilitate this process so you can make the pictures you want.This one day tour will bring you to several tribal village around Chiang Mai. We will visit villages of Hmong, Akha, Karen, Lahu, Lisu and Palong. In each of these villages you will meet local people who will show you their most beautiful traditional dress.

This hugely entertaining program sees you cycling through a beautiful botanic garden, admire orchids and exotic palms, float on a lake in a paddleboat and, finally, fly from tree to tree like a monkey along ziplines in the forests of Chiang Mai.

This trip takes you to the beautiful countryside in Mae Taeng area. Starts your day with a fabulous white water raft trip on the Mae Taeng River followed by some gentle bamboo rafting. Proceed on an exiting zipline adventure on Mae Sa Valley. Last stop today will be the hilltribe village at Baan Tong Luang where you will see the traditional dress of Lahu, Hmong, Karen and Palong people in a village setting. Greatest attraction though is the famous Long Neck Karen women.

During this short but action-packed program you will meet the Palong people of Chiang Dao. You will learn about their traditions, their history and their daily life. You will trek through the forest to their village. Along the way your guide will show you some of the secrets of this lush, tropical forest. You will overnight in a village house and really experience how life is in these traditional villages.

This is an active tour which will take you to some of the most beautiful spots around Chiang Mai. We spend most time on our bicycles or trekking through the forest. You will meet elephants, chat with tribesmen around the campfire, learn about local traditions, cycle through some of the oldest ruins in Northern Thailand and follow the Ping River along its most scenic stretch.

A unique program that will let you participate in a treeplanting community project that will offset part of the carbon footprint of your holiday. You will stay in a basic but beautiful bamboo bungalow, the Pure Farm, on the edge of ricefields. You will hike into to the forest with local people, plant your trees and monitor the growth of the Tiger Trail trees. Learn about the forest and its impact on local agriculture.  We will also tell you everything you want to know about Asian elephants and their role in tourism. The second night you will stay in a Palong village.

During this short but very action-packed program you will experience authentic tribal culture, trek through the forest, enjoy bamboo as well as whitewater rafting. The trip ends with an exciting tree top adventure in the Mae Sa valley. You will fly from tree to tree but also will have to face some exciting challenges such a rope bridges and hanging bridges and you will even ride a bicycle from one tree to the other…..

This two-day program is perfect for adventurous nature lovers. We leave Chiang Mai early in the morning and drive to the picturesque village of Mae Kampong. This village is part of an ecotourism project designed to bring tourists closer to the rural parts of Thailand. In the afternoon you will learn about the history of this remarkable village and make a beautiful trek around the village. Next day we make a fantastic nature hike through cloud forest and enjoy some incredible views. In the afternoon we continue towards one of Thailand’s biggest zipline attractions, Flight of the Gibbon.

This two-day trek will take you into the mountains of Northern Thailand. In the coming days you will learn about the flora and fauna of Northern Thailand and about the mountain dwellers who call these foothills of the Himalayas their home. You will learn about the traditions and life of the various tribes inhabiting this area, the Karen and Palong. Most of these tribes migrated into Thailand from the surrounding countries. Your experienced guide knows this area like the back of his hand and will tell you about plants and animals.

Mae Kampong is a beautiful mountain village, only about an hour’s drive from Chiang Mai. The village is located at around 1300 metres altitude so temperatures are pleasant year round. A sparkling stream runs through the village.

The village is set in the midst of a largely untouched forest and is the base of Flight of the Gibbon, the first zipline in Chiang Mai province.
