This three day trekking give you a chance to explore the beautiful Mae Taeng area. You will stay overnight in a fantastically located hilltribe village with great views over the forest and the valleys. The trekking is challenging but beautiful. The trip ends with a fabulous white water raft trip on the Mae Taeng River followed by some gentle bamboo rafting.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Chiang Mai – Pa Miang Village

Description:
Your trekking guide will pick you up at an appointed time at the hotel. You will drive to the north into the mountains near Mae Tang. First we will stop at one of Chiang Mai’s famous orchid nurseries. Continue to a local market. Your guide will do some shopping for the coming days. He will take you along and will explain about the different ingredients he will be using for dinner.
Drive to Hmong village at Baan Pha Pu Jom. We will have lunch in the village. Then, start trekking about 2 hours to a small waterfall. You will have time to relax and swimming. Continue walking uphill through the forest to the Red Lahu village Baan Pa Miang. After arrival in the village you can relax, explore the village or learn some Thai cooking by helping your guide prepare the dinner.He can explain you about the herbs and ingredients he uses. After dinner your guide will take you to one of the village houses where you will meet some of the villagers. Overnight will be in one of the village houses.
Day 2: Pa Miang Village – Kub Kab Village

Description:
After breakfast this morning we will start trekking up hill about 2.5 – 3 hours to the Red Lahu village Baan Pha Dang. Lunch will at be the village.After lunch we will continue our trek through the forest about 1.5 - 2 hours to another Lahu village. Now and then we are rewarded with fantastic views. The last part of the trek today we walk through corn- and ricefields until we reach the Red Lahu village Kub Kab. This village is located on a moutaintop. The views are incredible.
Once we have arrived in the village you can rest for a while or spend some time playing with the children. Your guide will prepare your evening meal for you all, and if you like you can join him to prepare dinner. At the campfire after dinner, it’s time to share some more stories with your guide and the local Lahu people.
Day 3: Kub Kab Village – White Water Rafting -Chiang Mai

Description:
After the sounds of nature and the locals woke you up, your guide will prepare breakfast. After breakfast we start hiking along a trail with nice views over the forest until we reach the Chinese village Huay Sathan where we will rest for a short while. We continue trekking to the first stage of the Huay Sathan waterfall. We trek along the Kub Kab River to the second stage of the waterfall where we can have a swim. Continue walking for 1.5 hours to a rafting camp where we have lunch. After lunch, start with an exhilarating white water raft trip in rubber boats. After this adventure we make a relaxing bamboo raft trip.Drive back to Chiang Mai by truck. We will drop you at your hotel at around 5 pm.

Things to Bring:
- Short sleeve shirts for the day time (bring a spare one, just in case)
- Long sleeves for the evening (especially in the winter Nov - Feb it can be a bit cold)
- Shoes with good grip (especially in the raining season from May - Sep)

- Fully charged batteries or even an extra battery for your camera.
- 1000-1500 Thai Baht per person in small (not bigger than 500 Thai Baht and plenty of 100 Thai Baht notes). This is for souvenirs, drinks and tips.
