This tour is all about fruit. The land between Chiang Mai and Lamphun is extremely fertile due to the proximity of the Ping River and tributaries. It is also very scenic. On this bikeride we concentrate on everything that grows here. You will see coconut palms, banana, mango and papaya trees; we will pass through endless longan plantations because this is longan country and Lamphun is the longan capital of Northern Thailand. Less easy to spot are trees that carry fruits like santol, starfruit, jackfruit, sugar apple, rose apple, tub tim, guava, rambutan, pomelo and dragon fruit.
This three day trekking give you a chance to explore the beautiful Mae Taeng area. You will stay overnight in a fantastically located hilltribe village with great views over the forest and the valleys. The trekking is challenging but beautiful. The trip ends with a fabulous white water raft trip on the Mae Taeng River followed by some gentle bamboo rafting.
Over these 3 days we will get the chance test our rafting skills while bamboo rafting. We walk approximately 4-5 hours each day along sloping hills and valleys. We leave our big packs in storage in Chiang Mai and take an overnight bag. Each person is required to be able to carry their own pack as our porters will be carrying food.

This three day trip will take you to the seldom visited Doi Khuntan National Park and to the city of Lampang, the “horse cart city’. Doi Khuntan NP is a beautiful park with plenty of forest and wonderful views. The park also has an interesting history. It’s the only national park in Thailand that has a railway station.In the early morning we hike to the top of Khuntan Mountain. After that we will continue to Lampang, an interesting city with fantastic Lanna style temples, colorful markets and historic houses.
This two day trip will take you to the seldom visited Doi Khuntan National Park. Doi Khuntan NP is a beautiful park with plenty of forest and wonderful views. The park also has an interesting history. It’s the only national park in Thailand that has a railway station.In the early morning we hike to the top of Khuntan Mountain.We travel by slow train to Doi Khuntan NP. We will hike to the top of Doi Khuntan. After that we will visit the Thai Elephant Conservation Center near Lampang before we return to Chiang Mai.
This three day program has everything. On the first day you will embark on a wonderful trek through the forest, past waterfalls and villages. You will spend the night at a traditional Karen village and learn about their culture and language. You will get your hands dirty working for a couple of hours at the interesting Royal Agricultural Project before you descend back to the road. You will enjoy a relaxing bamboo raft trip before checking into the charming Mae Win guesthouse.

The hiking is absolutely awesome. A local Hmong guide will accompany us and explain about the history of these tribesmen and their interaction with their environment.
