TTKK01 - Wildlife Watching at Kang Krachan Tour - 2 Days
A two day tour into Kang Krachan's jungle is a true adventure on its own. But under guidance of our professional guides it will be a life time memory.
Exploring the facinating nature of one of Thailand's most beautiful National Park, guided by our professional tourguide who will tell you all about it and will hopefully help you to be able to spot that facinating creature you've always wanted catch on film.
Depart your hotel in Bangkok at 7am sharp for a 3-hour drive to Kaeng Krachan National Park. We will stop at your resort on the way to drop off your luggage before heading into the park with a 4x4. Reach Baan Krang and head on a nature walk for the rest of the day on the langur & elephant trail. On this trail you have a chance of encountering one of the numerous languor families and sometimes wild elephants. After a nutritious lunch we will get on a different trail to visit some mineral licks before getting around to the birding trail. Around 6pm we will start to make our way back, with a few stops en route at different spots to watch large mammals. We will head out of the forest and drive to a excellent Thai restaurant to enjoy a delicious seafood dinner near the riverside, before returning to our hotel for a good nights rest.
Walking Distance: 5km over a period of 4-6 hours.
Wake up early to do a bit of morning bird watching. After that we will return to your resort for breakfast and into the park once again with our 4x4. We will drive up towards the mountain to see the mist in the Phanenthung area. From here we will start trekking down towards Thor Thip Waterfall, which is the most beautiful waterfall in Kaeng Krachan. After a 4-kilometre trek we will exit the forest to enjoy our lunch. After lunch we will spend another few hours birding. Until it’s time to start packing and make our way back to Bangkok again. We can drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
