Miracle Tea, Sakura and Tribal Food Festival of Doi Mae Salong

Location: Ban Santikhiri, Doi Mae Salong, Chiang Rai

Activities: Savour the taste of Doi Mae Salong tea. Admire the scenic landscape with Sakura flowers in bloom set against a mountainous backdrop. Enjoy a tribal culture show and shop for local products at the fair.

Hilltribe Culture & Sunflower Festival

Location: Doi Hua Mae Kham, Chiang Rai

Doi Hua Mae Kham is one of the largest mixed hilltribe villages in Thailand. There are Akha, Lahu, Lisu and Yao, plus Hmong and Tai Yai residents at Doi Hua Mae Kham. Located in the north-western extremity of Chiang Rai province approximately 30 kms west of Therd Thai, it is on the border with Myanmar, and is about as remote a place as one can find. It is a spectacular location.
