After breakfast start your day tour of highlights of Chiang Mai. Start your tour with a visit to the colorful Warorot Market and Ton Lamyai markets. We explore these fascinating markets. Your guide will explain about the typical Northern specialties that are for sale here. You will visit a Chinese shrine and hear the story of the Chinese settlement in Chiang Mai. The Warorot Market is now the centre of Chiang Mai’s Chinatown. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, one of our secret favorites. Continue with a visit of one of the town's oldest temples, the well-preserved Wat Phra Singh, a perfect example of Lanna Thai temple architecture. Then drive up to the Doi Suthep, a 1600 meter high mountain towering over Chiang Mai. Visit the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a beautiful temple from which you have a fantastic view over the city.Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
