This half day tour brings you to the frenetic market environment of Chinatown. You will pass by shop houses selling everything from Buddhist amulets to recycled truck engines. Locals worshiping at hidden temples, ritual paper burnings, and the omnipresent spirit house display evidence of a culture centuries in the making. This will be your chance to experience the peaceful elements of local Thai life as we cycle through diverse residential communities.

Itinerary: 
Description: 

Transfer on own to the Grand China Princess Hotel in Chinatown. This is where our bicycle tour starts. Tea or coffee will be served while you will get a short briefing on the trip on the lobby of the hotel.

After you have selected a suitable bicycle we will start the trip. From the hotel, we start by exploring the bustling everyday life of Chinatown. Through narrow alleyways and winding pathways best accessed by bicycle, we pass markets and Buddhist temples. We cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry to Thonburi, which used to be the capital.   We will stop at the Princess Mother’s Memorial Park where we will visit the house where she lived as a child set in open space with beautiful gardens. After this we will cross the river again back to where we came from.

We will continue cycling in the area behind Pak Klong Talad Flower and then cycle back to the Grand China Princess Hotel where we will finish our tour. Transfer back to your hotel on own.
