Khao Sok in southern Thailand has long been known for its beautiful rainforest and diverse flora and fauna. It’s also the natural habitat of an impressive bird population. Consisting of steep forested limestone slopes, rugged peaks and some smaller areas of lowland habitat, the park offers a spectrum of great birding habitats. In 1986-1987 part of the park has been set under water by the creation of the Chiew Larn hydroelectric dam. A trip by boat on the lake that was formed by this is a magnificent experience and allows for splendid views of the forest and its bird population.

A trip by kayak on this newly formed man made lake is a magnificent experience and allows for splendid views of the forest and limestone rock formations.

This 3-day trek will take you into the mountains of Northern Thailand into the Chiang Dao Wild Animals Protection area. Doi Chiang Dao is the third highest mountain in Thailand and will bring you dramatic scenery. This is an area seldom visited by tourists. In the coming days you will learn about the flora and fauna of the region and about the mountain dwellers who call these foothills of the Himalayas their home. You will learn about the traditions and life of the various tribes inhabiting this area, the Karen and Lisu.

Connected by a zip line you will fly from tree to tree through the canopy of the jungle. You will soak up the fragrant, clean air and enjoy the beauty and the stillness of the centuries old forest. Our safety team accompanies you and teaches you how to move through the trees with the speed and grace. It’s definitely a lifetime experience for people who are into outdoor adventure.

This day tour will depart as join in every Tuesday. We will start this day in the early morning with a visit to the Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens. A beautiful and interesting place where we can get a lot of information on flora and fauna found in the northern parts of Thailand. We will explore the greenhouses and walk one of the beautiful nature trails.
